As Manatee County faces the short-term relief and long-term recovery needs caused by Hurricane Irma, Manatee Community Foundation is working with other local partners to help donors make informed decisions about their giving. Selecting results-based organizations that are effective in their work will do the most good for our community.

The Disaster Relief Fund at Manatee Community Foundation was established years ago to respond to needs caused by disasters such as Hurricane Irma.

MCF staff will work in partnership with other local funders including United Way Suncoast, Manatee County Government, and the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to maximize the power of this fund to assist those impacted by this storm here in Manatee County.

We need you to help.

To make a tax-deductible contribution, mail a check to: Manatee Community Foundation, 2820 Manatee Ave West, Bradenton FL 34205 or call us at (941) 747-7765.  MCF can also accept gifts of appreciated assets such as stocks.

If your nonprofit serving Manatee County has needs resulting from the storm, please email Susie Bowie at SBowie@ManateeCF.org.
