COVID-19: How to Give and Support Your Community

Donors: What is Needed & How to Give

Contribute to Manatee Community Foundation’s “Manatee County COVID-19 Community Response Fund.”
The Manatee County COVID-19 Community Response Fund was established with a generous $500,000 gift from an anonymous donor to provide support for health and human services organizations impacted by this public health crisis.

Give with your donor advised fund, online, or by mailing a check to Manatee Community Foundation, 2820 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton FL 34205, with COVID-19 in the memo.

Review grants made through July 10, 2020 from the COVID-19 Community Response Fund, Foster Care Fund, and Bradenton COVID-19 Fund.

Provide unrestricted support for trusted nonprofits.

Unrestricted support is even more important today. Many organizations are working to keep their operations open and to adapt to a new way of working and reaching those they serve. Your charitable gifts allow them to pivot rapidly when new needs and conditions emerge. Email Jennifer Abbott at for specific recommendations for giving based on the missions that are most important to you and trusted organizations.
