On Saturday, May 9, the First Annual COVID19 Fishing Tournament took place and included 78 local anglers competing for prizes, with social distancing practices in place. After expenses were paid, $2,000 was raised for the Manatee County COVID-19 Community Response Fund, with an additional $500 added by the winning team led by Captain Marty Slade.
