Manatee Community Foundation’s Knight Fund is seeking proposals from nonprofit or government entities that are accelerating COVID-19 response and recovery with digital engagement approaches that prioritize downtown Bradenton.

The pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation of entire industries due to its impact on how we engage in-person with each other and our communities.

Institutions and governments must shift quickly to digital engagement and experiences now to meet demand, stay relevant, survive, and thrive in a post-pandemic economy.

The opportunity is to invest in Bradenton’s recovery in ways that better strengthen the City for a future that is more prone to disruption. Proposals should:

  • Meet the challenge of the pandemic
  • Support engagement of people in downtown Bradenton
  • Include digital engagement and innovation

Please send a 300 word proposal to SBowie@ManateeCF.org. The proposal should address the three criteria above, include a total estimated cost, and share expected results of the project if funded.

Deadline for initial proposal: Friday, September 10, 2021.
