MCF Scholar Profile: Natalia U.

Thanks to generous donors who believe in the impact that higher education can have on our communities, the Manatee Community Foundation has the pleasure of awarding scholarships to local students. Since 1998, we have been able to award over $50 million in scholarships and grants.

We enjoy following our scholars through their educational journey and we will periodically highlight these exceptional students.

Favorite thing about Manatee County
Living in Manatee County has allowed me to network and connect with people who have been vital to my success. I admire how I feel a sense of belonging in Manatee County because it is effortless to get involved.

How has MCF scholarships helped you?
Receiving the MCF scholarship has allowed me to avoid student debt and truly enjoy the college experience. The funds provided to me have taken the pressure off of working excessive hours to cover my academic costs.

What piece of advice would you give to high school seniors? 
Don’t worry about what tomorrow is going to bring, just let it happen!

What would you like to share with scholarship donors? 
I am so grateful for the generosity of the donors who have made me feel noticed in this world of millions of students.
