Nominate an Inspiring Donor or Nonprofit Professional for a Spirit of Manatee Award

The nomination process is open to recognize outstanding philanthropic individuals during the 2019 Spirit of Manatee Awards Luncheon.

Now in its fourteenth year, Spirit of Manatee is Manatee Community Foundation’s preeminent celebration of people who live and give in Manatee County. Attracting nearly 500 people, the awards luncheon assembles business and community leaders, philanthropic individuals and corporations, volunteers and nonprofit staff to honor those who have made Manatee County an exceptional place to live, work and play.

The Spirit of Manatee Awards Luncheon will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at the Bradenton Area Convention Center.

Awards will be given in the following categories:

  • Lifetime Spirit Award
  • Leadership Spirit Award
  • Community Spirit Award
  • Youth Spirit Award
  • Charles Clapsaddle Community Spotlight Award, a new award recognizing an outstanding nonprofit professional
