Your Perspective & Experience: Animal Welfare in Manatee County

Through the generosity and caring of donors, Manatee Community Foundation has been entrusted with funds to support animal welfare in our community. Over the years, we have invested in free emergency veterinary care, free and low/cost spay neuter services for dogs and cats, wildlife rehabilitation, capital projects at animal welfare organizations, care for animals providing therapy to individuals with trauma and disabilities, and much more.
Those with knowledge of animal welfare in Manatee County are invited to share their perspectives and experiences in animal welfare with us to help us better understand opportunities to make a difference.
Four quick guidelines:
- This survey is meant for ANYONE who has knowledge of animal welfare in Manatee County.
- Multiple people can complete the survey from the same organization, sharing their own perspectives, and it can be forwarded to other individuals.
- We request your responses by Friday, August 12, 2022.
- We will share the results with those who provide an email address in the survey.
Manatee Community Foundation will also facilitate an in-person community conversation about animal welfare at our office, 2820 Manatee Avenue West, on Monday, August 22 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please mark your calendar if you wish to join us, and we will follow up with an invitation.
